LEADership Education And Development (LEAD) will be hosting a LIVE webinar on Saturday, May 7th at 10:00 AM (EST) and Friday, May 20th at 6:00 PM (EST). The Livestream Discussion will be “A Conversation About Experiential Education“.
LEAD is committed to developing generations of life-long learners with the capacity to contribute to humankind, equipped to “think differently” about how they learn, when they learn and the relevancy and application of what they learn. Students “learn by doing” and by reflecting on their experience, they are better able to connect theories and knowledge learned in the classroom to real-world situations.
During this discussion, learn how experiential learning can stimulate academic inquiry by promoting interdisciplinary learning, civic engagement, career development, cultural awareness, leadership, and other professional and intellectual skills. You will also learn about upcoming summer programs, including the REEX Jumpstart Scholars in Commercial Real Estate, a 2-week college residential program for diverse high school students.
